Four Weeks Left (Of School & Freshman Year)

Who knew that the principal and guidance counselors weren't lying after all?  High school does in fact fly by.  My parents even told me that the teenage years will be over before I know it.  The whole saying of "time flies when you're having fun" hails true.  It's June 1st and it's the final month of school, specifically freshman year.

However, I must accomplish certain tasks before the school year ends.  First off, a recap of past events since my last post.  Over the weekend, I showed my parents the information brochure packet.  It really coaxed them into this ordeal.  In spite of that, once they took a gander at that hefty price tag, suddenly they were not as in the best of moods as before.  I still didn't lose hope.  I know that once I'm truly determined to a cause, I stick to it.  What's that long word that I'm not even sure is legit(imate)?  That's my....stick-to-it-tive-ness. <-- The Long Word I Don't Know If It's Real

On my previous post, I mentioned how I also signed up for the more information webinar.  It went well.  Not only did I learn even more information and know just about everything there is to know thus far; but I also asked and received answers to additional questions I had formulated after the call with Andrew.  Speaking of which, remember how I stated that he told me he'd send an email.  After much anticipation, he did.  It has the contact information and other starting information.  Additionally, I printed out material and other necessities.  Now I feel comfortable approaching my guidance counselor about this endeavor.  I'll try to meet with her tomorrow.  If all goes well and I am approved, I'll be submitting my preliminary application soon.

Until Then,
- Gello

PS:  On a minor note, I also decided to apply for a skate guard job at my high school.  Now, I admit, I was hesitant to apply as I still weighed the decision and we had two weeks to apply.  However, I attempted to inquire Thursday afternoon of last week.  The man wasn't there.  I go the following day early, he tells me to return that afternoon after school.  I go at that time.  I was told to return Tuesday.  I go today, he tells me that there are no more applications.  -___-
